Have It Your Way!

Cocco Bello Cafe is a cozy, Italian restaurant that makes everyone feel right at home, whether you are Italian, Russian, Indian, or African the waitstaff and owners will always make you feel like family.  If you don't see anything you are want on the menu it's not a problem, tell them what you want and head chef Rob will be sure to make it for you!

For dessert try the melt-in-your-mouth (literally) chocolate eruption cake, a molten chocolate cake with an ooey-gooey chocolatey center! Top it off with a shot of their strong and delicious espresso.  Whether you are looking to have a nice dinner with your family or just catching up with your girlfriends over some coffee and dessert, this restaurant is the place to be.

The Landmark

It's all in the name!  The Landmark is one of the oldest eateries in town, and undoubtedly one of the best.  The kitchen is probably the size of your closet and occupied by an elderly Chinese couple cooking up all your favorite goodies.  On any given night you'll find some townees getting pretty tipsy at the bar doing the worm down the isles.  If you are looking for a good time and great food stop in The Landmark for something new.

A Hidden Gem

"Homemade doesn't have to mean Made-At-Home" is the motto at Nana's Deli, located in the heart of Livingston on South Livingston Avenue, yet very easy to miss.  Famous for their Homemade Jewish and Italian Specialties, the tuna salad is a must have.  If you walk into Nana's with a heavy wallet you'll walk out with a much lighter one, the prices can get a little steep but it is well worth it.

About four doors down from Nana's you'll find another great gem, Il Giacalone's Deli & Pizzeria.  Il Giacalone's is known for having the best chopped salads in town.  Also, don't leave town without trying one of their delicious grilled vegetable sandwiches on fresh focaccia bread.  If you park your car in Il Giacalone's parking lot, if you can even call it that, be careful when you back out onto oneof the busiest streets in town.

Breakfast of a Champion!

Whether you are looking to sit down and enjoy a meal or grab a quick bite to eat on the go, Livingston offers a great array of breakfast options.  Featured on "The New Jersey Diner Tour" episode of food networks hit show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, The Ritz Diner is a great place to start your day and fill your belly.  The Ritz is famous for their homemade apple pie, so make sure you don' t walk away without a bite; and if you are feeling adventurous get a pie to go!  If you are looking for your favorite comfort-food and great service The Ritz Diner is the place for you.

If like most of us you don't always have time in the morning to sit down and have a meal for breakfast, or if breakfast just isn't for you, you can never go wrong with a Super Duper Bagel.  Also known as "The Bagel Nazi" at one point you could only get served here if you behaved properly, now they continue to hold on to this name because this Israeli owned gem is closed on saturdays.
